UNetbootin (Universal Netboot Installer)As a cross-platform tool software, it can be used to build a Live USB system, to load various system tools, or to install various Linux operating systems (Linux suites) and other operating systems, without the need to install CD-ROMs (automatically downloaded through the network).
This installation mode establishes bootable USB flash drive and bootable USB Hard Disk Drive; this mode is used to build Live USB.
Non-destructive installation (no formatting device required) uses Syslinux.
Support for mainstream Linux (Linux suite), including but not limited to Ubuntu, Fedora, openSUSE, CentOS, Debian, Linux Mint, Arch Linux, Mandriva, PuppY Linux, Slackware and FreeDOS, FreeBSD and NetBSD.
You can load various system tools, including but not limited to Ophcrack, BackTrack, and Gujin.
Other operating systems can be loaded through pre-downloaded ISO image files or custom kernel, initrd and floppy/hard disk image files.
Automatic detection of all removable devices.
This installation mode performs network installation or frugal installation without the use of installation CD-ROMs, similar to that performed through Win32-Loader.
